HGTV Dream Home 2010

The HGTV Dream Home 2010 really is a total dream! I LOVE the custom turquoise ceramic tile in the entry hall, with the oversized turquoise wing chairs. So cozy! Then the real stunner...the 16 feet of turquoise tile in the kitchen. All of the tile was beautifully crafted by artist Erin Adams and her husband Michael Corney, a renowned ceramic artist out of New Mexico. Head over to HGTV to see lots more photos and virtual tours, and for your chance to win the home! If I win, I'll throw a giant housewarming party and you're all invited! What fun with that be?!

Comfy Cozy

I just love the cozy vibe and soothing color palette of this living room from Homes and Gardens. I am loving look of the big coffee tables, which were salvaged from a pair of old doors. Don't you just want to curl up in that big comfy chair?

Nuevo Estilo

I just love starting at this room that Ashley from Decorology shared from the Spanish magazine Nuevo Estilo. The seafoam walls are so pretty, but I just can't get over that slipcovered couch with all the pretty pillows! That giant turquoise bowl under the coffee table is so neat too. What a great room!

Cozy and Coastal

I never knew you could put such a cozy, warm spin on the coastal look, but I LOVE it! Melissa of The Inspired Room shared this pretty pic along with a bunch of great fall nesting tips. Check them out here!

Beaux Arts Mansion

The Glam Lamb pretty much made my entire day on Saturday when she posted this image from the Beaux Arts Mansion in St Louis. Is is absolutely gorgeous. I'm not going to go on and on, because Hallie pretty much summed up all the love in 5 points. Head here!

Frank Roop

I've decided that I don't post nearly enough from Frank Roop on here. Oh how I love this man! He sure knows his ways with the blues and the greens, and I love the addition of the pinks to the mix. That first image has to be one of my most favorite bedrooms. Be still my heart! To see more posts I've done on Frank Roop, go here and here.

Take Me to Nantucket

One day I'm going to spend the summer in Nantucket. Or least a weekend. All I ever see are beautiful cottages and fabulous gardens coming from there. Take this peaceful and cozy home belonging to Boston interior designer Nancy Serafini for example. Each room has so many neat elements to look at. And how cheery is that green guest room? I had to include it (I swear I spy turquoise in the valance and shams!) Head over to Traditional Home to see more, including the path of crushed seashells that leads to the arbored garden entrance. You just don't find that in Minnesota!
