Studio Ten 25

Immersing myself in a house full of pretty color (Wythe Blue!), fun pattern and fabulous furniture is what I call the perfect end to the week! This fabulous home was designed by Abbe Fenimore of Studio Ten 25 out of Dallas, Texas (and photographed beautifully by Melanie Johnson) for a newlywed couple that wanted a chic modern look for their first home together. The builder’s standard and more traditional finishes weren't working for them so Abbe had dark espresso hardwoods installed, dated lighting changed out and unveiled a black and white color palette with pops of turquoise and yellow! She also incorporated the wife's love for mirrored pieces while bringing in the bold graphics and masculine touches the husband was after. All in such perfect balance! Isn't the bedroom amazing?! (The couple–and Abbe's favorite room!) The curtains and bedding are so luxurious, not to mention that incredible headboard!

If you love Abbe's style as much as I do (EVERY room she's designed I love, how often can you say that??), definitely visit her online store Shop Ten 25! Also check out her website and blog too....so much inspiration, so little time!! Happy weekend! :)

Sand & Sisal Laundry Room

Laundry rooms aren't usually the first spaces to get decorated, but I feel like we ALL love and appreciate a pretty laundry room! Kim Wilson of Sand & Sisal decided that since she had to spend so much of her time doing laundry ("with two messy teen girls, two dirty, sweaty, little boys, a hubs who never unrolls his gym socks!" Ha!!), then her laundry room had to at least be beautiful! She did a stellar job on the makeover, don't you think?? She used one of my favorite paint colors on the walls–"Rainwashed" by Sherwin Williams. I especially love it next to the fresh white beadboard ceiling and crown molding that they installed. The sorting station is absolutely genius too!! Read all about this inspiring space and see lots more pics (including before's) right here!

Elizabeth Hague Interiors

We spent this past weekend decorating our home for the holiday, now it's time to decorate the blog! When the owners of this cozy mountain home moved from D.C. to Park City, Utah, they hired interior designer Elizabeth Hague and architect George Myers to design them a home with a traditional Eastern aesthetic...no typical timbered mountain home for this family! The beautiful fabrics and rugs inspired the paint colors, and get this, Elizabeth chose more than 30 different shades (I'll share a few below). Finish your tour of the home with more photographs by John Granen, and read the heartwarming story over at Traditional Home!

Echelon Custom Homes

This Delaware Shore home is a beautiful breath of fresh coastal air! Designed and built by Echelon Custom Homes, the spacious home located at the The Peninsula overlooking the Indian River Bay is so open and welcoming. Don't you love the paint colors?? They used one of my favorites–Sea Salt by Sherwin William in both the living room and the bathroom. (The cozy kitchen is painted Sherwin Williams Oyster Bay.) I just love the mix of woods, patterns and beachy colors in the living room. Great accessories too! Tour the rest of the home, including a really cool game room and office, right here!

Cole Wagner Cabinetry

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving week!! It's nice to be back home after our great vacation to Montana (more about that later)! My favorite thing after a loooong ride in the car?? A loooong hot bath! What a dream it would be to soak away in this beautiful bathroom by Cole Wagner Cabinetry out of Rochester Hills, Michigan, photographed here by Beth Singer. The color on the vanity and ceiling is entirely lovely, and I love the pretty light fixture! Oh and I'll take the chairs too, love those! Check out more work by Cole Wagner Cabinetry over at their gallery!

Edit: Cabinets are painted Benjamin Moore HC-144 Palladian Blue.

Lane Homes & Remodeling

White kitchens are my serious weakness, especially when paired with turquoise! I was excited to learn the owner of this beautiful kitchen designed by Lane Homes & Remodeling out of Richmond, Virginia was actually inspired by my blog when choosing the color palette for her new space. (How happy that makes me!) There are so many great details, all captured here by photographer John Magor. I love the mix of tile on the backsplash–especially the quatrefoil pattern, and the glass cabinets on top and their cool design. So glad they included some open cabinets as well, no better way to show off that lovely turquoise dinnerware! Head on over here to see the 'before' pics, as well as many more inspiring spaces!
