Tobi Fairley + The Chancellor Hotel

When it comes to style, The Chancellor Hotel in Fayetteville, Arkansas has it going on! How fabulous is their Chancellor Suite designed by Tobi Fairley and photographed here by Rett Peek?! You'd never guess it was even a hotel! Tobi wanted to bring level of sophistication to Arkansas reminiscent of her favorite classic hotels like the Carlyle in New York City, but infused with her signature colorful style that we all love. I could eat up all those turquoise chairs and the yellow sofas...so plush, so gorgeous!! Check out more photos and learn all about the project at Tobi's Blog!

Rachel Reider Interiors + Chapman House

I have quite the obsession with all things Nantucket, so imagine my delight when I saw this! The chic boutique hotel was designed by the Boston-based interior designer Rachel Reider, and I have to say I've never seen such a cool hotel, a hotel so up my design alley, in all my life...forget that it's even in Nantucket! Chapman House was built in 1717, but Rachel recently gave it one heck of a facelift. Public areas and each of the 11 unique guest rooms, captured here by Rare Brick, are brought to life with fabulous fabrics, bold colors and yummy prints, not to mention way-cool lighting, furniture and floor coverings. I love that there's still a coastal vibe (it is Nantucket after all) but not a whale to be seen! Get all the info on the hotel right over here, and see more images and learn about the project over at Rachel's website!

So happy it's Friday! This weekend Chris and I are headed off on a road trip to Montana! We're spending next week in a tiny little cabin in the middle of nowhere! We will get to see some great national parks though and hopefully a ton of wildlife. Feel free to follow me on Instagram! (May not be a whole lot of turquoise this trip....but I'm always on the lookout!) I have some guest bloggers ready and waiting to share some really great projects with you guys though, so keep on coming back while I'm away!

Athenaeum Hotel is located in London, United Kingdom, was designed by Purcell Miller Tritton. insensitive to changes in 1970 left the Art Deco hotel looks tired and dated. Despite its important position Piccadilly, he was losing to its competitors. The client wanted to renovate the structure, transforming it into a distinctive destination in London. Short had been converted into suites light contemporary spaces to create a presidential suite with panoramic views of Green Park, to update the public areas and renew the look and feel.

Addressing short: The most critical aspect of this project was to provide a spectacular visual treat - both internal and external - to strengthen the character of the hotel and prestige. area in South Hotel Piccadilly means that the team had to solve the problems of solar gain and noise pollution to improve the quality of the room and the customer experience. Extensive internal reorganization was needed, which has created a great structural challenges, and the challenge of creating a captivating focal point external.

Former Hotel Located In A Historic Building And Architectural Luxury

Luxurious hotel in architecture and is located in a historic building (250 + years) from Valletta, Malta took the main source. Lucia Scotia, part of Valletta Suites project is a hotel that is really special for a very special guest. The appreciation and awareness is needed with a fun and entertaining. A combination of several styles, but still a strong concept. Learn to see the beauty that has a story to tell and enjoy the excitement that had just brought to life. One project examined the cost of the same size and maybe even the small hotel with only two rooms for the night. First of all environmental factors is an existing recycling. In this case, was implemented by an original historic building with 3 levels and roof terrace. The house has a very unique configuration consists of a chamber above the other, connected by a spiral stone staircase great.

Most of all deteriorated structure was abandoned in the way points in time use and importance. There is considerable attention on the structure of the old and new in decor. Even the walls are very few who are treated, they are a way for them to be compatible with existing conditions. hotel philosophy simple and clear, NO bathroom single dose, no large space that is not necessary, even for personal service, YES for environmentally friendly housing.

Upon entering the living room on the first floor and looked around, you want to know and confusing. The furniture is traditional and mod with rococoesque all are united in space time. One might think that the residence was owned by poor families with a rich guy who bombed the FF & E. Dominant emphasis there is a relationship between old and new. Everything has a meaning and symbolism. All accessories and decorative objects were purchased from flea markets to remind those who may be present initially in the interior. Special attention should be paid at each end. Most of all beautiful Terrazzo earth house. A key factor in an atmosphere of space through geometric shapes and the real historical value. A value that also includes the original narrow staircase. Running away from the streets of the old staircase reveals terrace wear. There are no secrets, hidden and not regret that.

In the first completed room can not take my eyes away from the marriage between the wall and the bed. Originally the walls looked like had been treated with special techniques, but a look around you realize that the only progress of work at the time. In a closed room all you need is a bed that invites you into the real surprise is the bathroom black cons acting as an entity separate from everything else. Particular attention should be paid through the glass door to remind you that you travel in this, but there is a great charm of the past. The second bedroom upstairs is currently under construction and is a hidden surprise. But we have inside information that will be composed of dark brown tones of cement Veneziana chosen to be part of the wall, who took the color of a coat of paint was found when scraping the wall. For the rest of the room, exposed limestone of Malta, a rich black marble wainscoting, tile patterned fabrics and textures are being studied.

The Maidstone

In just a few more days I'll be on my way to the Hamptons!! I've been obsessing about it and researching for a while now, and one of my favorite discoveries has been c/o The Maidstone, a chic boutique hotel in East Hampton. Unfortunately staying there is out of my blogger's budget, but luckily for us, drooling over their images is free! The Maidstone was purchased a couple years ago by Swedish hotelier Jenny Ljungberg. She infused the hotel with a free-spirited Scandinavian vibe, inspired by the wonderful fabrics of Josef Frank. For more on the design as well as more droolworthy photos, visit The Kitchen Designer. And be sure to check out their official site for more information or reserve a room (lucky duck)!

La Samanna Villas

Wow! You guys gave us some amazing ideas yesterday!! Thanks a million for all of your feedback, we so appreciate it! So many of you said how incredible the Caribbean is. I'd die, I swear to you, being somewhere like the La Samanna Villas on the island of St Martin. The extraordinary view of the Caribbean Sea would be the end of me! Not only is the view breathtaking, but the interiors designed by Marc Michaels are so elegantly comfortable, I can't believe it's not someone's home. I love how our favorite color is paired with oranges, reds, pinks and greens...for "a true Caribbean spirit"! If that is the spirit of the Caribbean, I'm so there!
