St Michael's Hospital In Toronto, Canada


Hospital de San Miguel is located in Toronto, Canada, was designed by Diamond and Schmitt Architects. The nine-story building, designed by Jack Diamond, director of Diamond and Schmitt Architects, is situated next to the hospital and connected by a deletion of 21m long (70 foot) glass and tubular steel bridge whose shape resembles a double helix.

The training component includes a library, classrooms and meeting rooms. They are connected by multi-level rooms that sit above the existing Victoria Lane and are connected by an elegant staircase triangle, creating a focal point for informal meetings. A 200-seat auditorium with committee functions as a conference center and conference room.
