I felt like I stumbled upon a gem when I discovered Lucas Studio and the rooms they designed for the Stately Homes by the Sea Showhouse (and photographed by the talented John Bessler.) That nursery is fab-u-lous. I didn't even realize it was a nursery until I saw the crib and rocking horse! Is that daybed not stuff dreams are made of?! That fabric!! After seeing Meghan's amazing painted turquoise floor last week, I was determined to paint the floor in my new porch too. Now of course, after doing this post, I'm convinced the ceiling needs to be painted too. Maybe in EVERY room! Ha! As you can see from above, it's not just for front porches anymore. (Do you know why the paint of choice for many porches across the country is blue? Read about it here.) No matter the room, I adore the way it looks. So now I need to know...have any of you kicked it up a notch and painted your ceiling something other than white?? Blue perhaps?? ;) Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm constantly asked what my go-to paint colors are, and it's so hard to say because I actually have no experience painting...the definite disadvantage to renting! It's beyond me why I didn't think to do this sooner, as in YEARS ago, but better late than never. I need your help! I hope you enjoyed all the readers' room inspiration to kick-off your weekend! I've selected some colorful and bold bedrooms, obviously reserved mainly for the younger crowd. You guys really like to have fun when you decorate your kids' rooms...I love it! Isn't it cool how everyone interprets turquoise differently, and to see all the combinations turquoise looks good with??

Keep your rooms coming to me, I love seeing them!! I'm trying to figure out how to better organize all my email, I never dreamed in a million years I'd get as much as I do!
