Do you guys remember little Norah's nursery?? One of my ALL-TIME favorites ever?! The design genius behind it and this gorgeous studio is jewelry designer Caroline of Armelle Jewelry. Schumacher's Birds and Butterflies wallpaper is a match made in heaven with her stained concrete floor. (Wouldn't you love to do that in your basement?!) I absolutely adore the white armoire she lovingly painted too, and how the inside is painted Robins Nest by Benjamin Moore to match the floors. Country Decor

You just don't see stuff like this here in the States. Straight out of France, this home featured in Campagne Décoration is storybook beautiful. I can't even imagine eating dinner at that dining table, surrounded by the aqua-painted eighteenth century woodwork. Don't even get me started on a soak in that tub! And that armoire is killing me! I can't think of a better way to dip your toes in lovely turquoise waters than by painting display shelves or the inside of cupboards. The subtle touch of color is truly the perfect backdrop for allowing collectibles to shine or offsetting dishware. It seems like it could be a pretty simple project too (although I really shouldn't talk!), but one that leaves a big impact. Do you any of you have painted shelves in your home?
