Tim Clarke

Interior designer Tim Clarke out of Santa Monica, California is known for taking classic motifs and interpreting them in a fresh way. I adore his modern beach home style...free and light, nautical without being kitschy. Tim's retail store in Santa Monica, Tower 20 Store, reflects his coastal modern aesthetic so even us land-locked (and freezing cold) folks can infuse our homes with sophisticated, beachy style. See more of his work over at Coastal Living, and his website!

Thanks you guys for all your sweet birthday comments for my dad yesterday!! He got such a kick out of reading them! :)

Turquoise And Cream Kitchen

So simple but so beautiful! This delicious cuisine in a 19th century house located in Berkshire, England, appeared in 25 beautiful houses. The combination of Aquaculture (Aqua Blue Neptune) and cream (Calico by Neptune) is so cool here, very nice with all the rustic wood. recycled pine floors are so beautiful, and I love all the light coming from French doors!

Colorful Victorian Home

One of my favorite homes from October's issue of 25 Beautiful Homes was this colorful Victorian in York photographed by Jeremy Phillips. That hand-glazed tile in the kitchen is incredible, it really swings the bland scale way over in the other direction. And the guest bedroom...so much to love there. You already know how I live for canopy beds, but throw in some bold turquoise wallpaper and I'm a total goner. I'm loving the fabric on the chair, pillows and valance too. Pampered guests, I'd say!

Only a couple days until I turn 30, which means only a couple days left to enter my giveaway!

Peaceful & Pretty

I am overwhelmed with a sense of serenity when I stare into these beautiful photographs taken by Emily Gilbert. Designed by Ali Schwarz and styled by Rebecca Omweg, the peaceful palette and beautiful furnishings are absolutely heavenly. I just wish I could magically transport myself into the last photo and work from that desk all day. Not a bad view! Of course I'd turn around every few minutes, because the view in the other direction is equally as lovely!

My 30th Birthday Giveaway!

So many stripes, so little time! This lovely living room filled from the October issue of Homes and Gardens was photographed by Tom Leighton and styled by Katrin Cargill. Now on to other important matters. In ten short days I'll be turning 30! Yikes! I thought a fun thing to do would be to go shopping for you guys, some of my favorite people. Meg Adams

This dining room designed by Meg Adams from the 40th annual Decorators’ Show House & Gardens and featured in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyle magazine is absolutely breathtaking! Of course, our beloved Marjorie Skouras chandelier is the crowing jewel, but I'm drooling over the Obsorne & Little fabric too. The photography by Erica George Dines really is stunning here, perfectly captures the space. I just can't handle all this beauty!

Update: The fabric is called "Grove Garden" - pattern number F5633/02. It's from Osborne & Little's Miradouro Collection. You can see it here!

Buckingham Interiors

The sitting room in this home designed Julia Edelmann of Buckingham Interiors + Design has to be one of the neatest I've seen! I am absolutely dying here over that fabric (Flowershow from Christopher Carr), the colors and oversize botanical print are complete perfection. (And the chairs look comfy too!) How awesome are those barstools in the kitchen?! They're covered in vinyl, but the nail heads keep them looking très cool! See more of the home here!
