A cook's dream come true! Ok, even a person who just likes to bake the occasional batch of cookies dream come true (that'd be moi)! This kitchen from the October issue of Homes & Gardens and designed by Toni Silver at Mark Wilkinson Furniture really stores it all in style. I'd love to have a walk-in pantry to hide all my stuff. And the mix of open shelving looks great too, as does the purple on the lower cabinets. But seriously people...the backsplash...the color on that tile is droolworthy!

This adorable room that Cristin of Simplified Bee recently posted about completely knocked my socks off. Designed by the uber-talented Margot Austin and captured by photographer Donna Griffith, I just adore all the colors used in the space. What teenage girl wouldn't love to call this room her own?? What with that dreamy bed, practical work area, and cheery little sitting area by the window?! Perfection!

Ok so there is arguably not a whole lot of turquoise going on in these gorgeous rooms in St Martin de Ré, France taken by photographer Jordi Canosa, but the small touches of blue look so yummy with all the purples and grays I couldn't help but share!

One of my favorite things about the fall is Apartment Therapy's annual Room For Color contest. I was so excited when I heard the lovely Kelly of Color Sizzle and Porter House Designs had her home office selected to be in the contest. Don't you all love the lilac, aqua and brown color scheme she uses?? I never think of the ceiling as a blank canvas, but I absolutely adore the look of it painted aqua here. Head over to AT to learn all about this room, and to vote for Kelly (it's quick and easy!)....have to hurry though because voting ends at approximately 3:00 pm EST on Saturday, October 17! Have a color-filled fall weekend everyone!
