Home for the Holidays

We're getting down to the wire, folks! You getting excited?! I love this down home, cozy image from Coastal Living with just touches of my favorite color. Love those presents! What fun to have a little bitty Christmas tree in the corner too. Speaking of Christmas trees, thanks so much for all your positive comments on my own tree yesterday! You guys made my (and my cats) day! :)

My Turquoise Christmas Tree

Here are the photos I promised! My tree feels so inadequate compared to all the fantastic ones I've seen in the blogosphere, but it's mine and it's turquoise and I love it. I was worried the two rascals you see would tear the tree up (last year I had a fake tree and Spencer, the orange and white cat, spent his days climbing it to the top). They pretty much leave it alone, aside from wrestling with the tree skirt and drinking the water. Isn't my little Kismet just the cutest?! ;)

Just Beachy
I anxiously await the holiday season all year, so pardon me while I post even more beautiful blue Christmas decor with you! (To see last Friday's round-up, go here.) I was lazy all week and didn't snap any photos of my own tree, but I promise I'll do that this weekend (that is when I'm not at the mall!) Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Coastal Christmas

I immediately fell for this kitchen that Cassandra of coco+kelley featured in her inspirational post all about Christmas by the beach. As much as I love our snowy, cold Minnesota winters, sometimes I think a nice holiday spent in a beach home would make for a memorable Christmas!

Turquoise Holiday Decor

A lot of these images have been floating around blogland, but I thought it would be nice to collect my favorite turquoise holiday images I've seen thus far. I'm just so happy with how much turquoise and blue is out there this year! Of course my own tree is filled with turquoise ornaments. As soon as I get some photos taken, I'll be sure to share them with you!

One Kings Lane

Can it get any more delightful than this welcoming image from One Kings Lane?! The dogs even have turquoise bows adorning their necks! Last Monday I posted another inspirational holiday image with silver, this one has gold. Which one do you guys prefer with turquoise? I'd have said silver, but this is looking mighty fine! Thanks Daniela!

Holiday Inspiration

I love the tiny touches of holiday cheer and pops of red in this lovely image from Homes & Gardens. I don't think it's too soon to start thinking about holiday decor, do you?? It's one thing to actually put up the tree...getting inspired is a totally different story!

Happy 4th of July!!

I hope everyone here in the US has a fantastic and safe holiday weekend...full of friends, family and fireworks! Gotta love the fireworks! I don't often see turquoise mixed with a patriotic theme so I had to share this image today. Happy 4th of July! :)
