Cole Wagner Cabinetry

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving week!! It's nice to be back home after our great vacation to Montana (more about that later)! My favorite thing after a loooong ride in the car?? A loooong hot bath! What a dream it would be to soak away in this beautiful bathroom by Cole Wagner Cabinetry out of Rochester Hills, Michigan, photographed here by Beth Singer. The color on the vanity and ceiling is entirely lovely, and I love the pretty light fixture! Oh and I'll take the chairs too, love those! Check out more work by Cole Wagner Cabinetry over at their gallery!

Edit: Cabinets are painted Benjamin Moore HC-144 Palladian Blue.

Elizabeth Sullivan Design

Just because I'm engaged now doesn't mean I've got nurseries on my mind! But when I first saw this amazing one by New Orleans designer Elizabeth Sullivan, I have to admit my ovaries did hurt a little! It's just exactly the sort of space I would want to have for my own little one some day. Full of fun color, lots of texture and cozy layers. How cool are those aqua stripes on the ceiling?? And the wall of books?! Genius! Elizabeth actually has her own blog too that I love...check it out here!

Hamilton Design Associates

When I saw a tasty post filled with bold pattern and vibrant color on Gorgeous Shiny Things, I wasn't at all surprised to learn they were designed by Ellen Hamilton of Hamilton Design Associates. (She was, after all, the mastermind behind this marvelous bedroom.) Her portfolio is full of bold, colorful design, but also these dreamy seaside escapes too. That kitchen!!! Oh my word. Excuse me while I stare off into these images....it's snowing here....again. Ugh!!!

Suzanne Käsler

First! My heart beats a little 'faster when I look at this to-die-room of my favorite designer Suzanne Käsler and also on the January issue of Veranda. This room is in Greenwich, Connecticut Home Photos Thibault Jeanson is an elegant and tranquil, filled with the right amount of beautiful colors, patterns and designs. Nancy Corzine bench covered in Cowtan & Tout fabric is fab-u-Lous!

Craig Kettles

I'm back!!! What a fantastic vacation I had! I can't wait to get my pictures on to my computer (all 1,300 of them!) and share a few favorites with you guys. I saw loads of turquoise gems I know you're gonna love. I just want to send another thank you to all of my talented guest bloggers...I loved all of your posts!

Since I'm feeling pretty exhausted (the NYC part of our trip should have been first on our itinerary!) but mostly since I wish I was still at the beach, I felt these rooms designed by Craig Kettles were perfectly fitting for the day. I'm loving the painted floor and cozy nooks in the bunk room. Wouldn't the painted ceiling in the bedroom would be a delight to gaze up at?! Both rooms so simple, but absolutely lovely in every way! For more spaces as equally as beautiful, head on over to C Designs!

Cozy in Connecticut

This Noroton Harbor home in Connecticut featured in the fall issue of New England Home was designed by Nancé J. Vigneau and photographed by Laura Moss. The bedroom is so cozy and serene...I want to snuggle up in that bed and stare off at the pretty blue ceiling! The dining room is beautiful too, love those star light fixtures! To see more of this waterfront home, head over here!

The Ultimate Luxury

It's no wonder this bathroom designed by Barbara Heath and photographed by Erica George Dines was named the Grand Prize Winner in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles 21st Annual Bath Contest. My eyes were immediately drawn to the beautiful custom built vanity inspired by an antique buffet. Oh, and those stunning Murano glass lamps. So fancy! I'd love to sit back in that tub and stare off at those pretty blue ceilings!

Womack Interiors

Here's the poolside cabana from the same Decorators’ Show House & Gardens that I shared yesterday. Designed by Cheryl Womack and Alison Womack Jowers of Womack Interiors out of Atlanta, the space feels elegant and carefree at the same time. Love that blue ceiling and collection of glass bottles! (And the cute little pup!)

Diamond Baratta

Ok so I'm pretty sure that most of us wouldn't want to actually live in this colorful Captiva Island home designed by Diamond Baratta and featured in Florida Design magazine, but you have to admit, it's soooo much fun to look at! (And I'm sure we'd all take a room here or there, no?) Such a treat for the eyes...all that fearless, vibrant color, all that turquoise! I don't even know what I love best, maybe the kitchen with the funky pendants and turquoise backsplash. Or the family room with that fabulous “paisley gone wild” carpet. Or the loggia filled with turquoise cushions and the insane view of the Gulf of Mexico. Ok so maybe I would want to live here. If you're digging this scene, you have to check out this post I did last year on Diamond Baratta, and also their portfolio here! Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!

Southern Seaside Style

These folks in South Carolina don't exactly live seaside (although according to the map, they're a heck of a lot closer than I am!) but you'd never know it from their charming home photographed by Laurey W. Glenn and featured in Southern Living. I swear I'm hearing waves after looking at all those breezy porches! That swinging daybed?! I WANT ONE! I love all those shutters so much too, you just don't see them up here in Minnesota. We do have screened-in porches though, in fact mine is kinda like that last image. But I love how they have draperies made from waterproof sailcloth in theirs. My cute throw pillows and I could have used those during this nasty storm we had a few days ago! For more on this delightful home, head over to Southern Living! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! :)

Annie Ballantine

When I first saw this den designed by Annie Ballantine Designs (straight out of Minneapolis, yay!) I was immediately taken with the fabulous Roman shades. Not only that whimsical fabric (by Cowtan & Tout), but the curved detail and beautiful trim at the base. Of course the wall color (Benjamin Moore Affinity “Azores” AF-495) only makes it that much better! Ooh, and that ottoman...love! Check out Annie's site here, but for more good stuff head over to her blog!

Another Dreamy Sleeping Nook

Talk about a lucky girl! Thanks to Sweet Home Style, I didn't miss seeing this adorable space that Apartment Therapy featured belonging to Mary, who is now a freshman in college. When she was young she never wanted to sleep in her own bed. As a solution, her mom and aunt decided to build her this special little sleeping nook for her 8th birthday. Even though the room has a childish feel, she says she never grew out of it. Understandably Mary was recently devastated to learn her parents were selling her childhood home, but was comforted knowing that the family moving in had two little girls who were mesmerized by the beautiful and cozy room. I don't blame them...it's truly mesmerizing, isn't it? Love those floors and ceiling too!
