Heavenly Hideaway

I'll don't think I will ever get tired of seeing the Ikea canopy bed, especially all dolled up with flowing curtains like this! This adorable room that was featured in At Home in Arkansas belongs to the daughter of Jennifer and Jeff of Herron Horton Architects and is the perfect hideaway, no matter your age! I love the fresh color palette of the bedding against all the white, not to mention the colorful design on those fab pillow shams. Those windows look pretty incredible too!

Tobi Fairley Does it Again!

I fell hard for this gorgeous kitchen and family room when I saw it on Tobi Fairley's blog (where she even shared before'n'afters!) Bless her heart because she created a whole page with details on how to give our own spaces this family-friendly look. Isn't the velvet polka-dot fabric on the back of the chairs fantastic?! (Jane Churchill for Cowtan & Tout) It's fun and elegant! If I could transport myself into this space, I would in a heartbeat! To read the story behind the cool and relaxing space, visit At Home in Arkansas. And for Tobi's tips, go here! Have a great weekend!

La Samanna Villas

Wow! You guys gave us some amazing ideas yesterday!! Thanks a million for all of your feedback, we so appreciate it! So many of you said how incredible the Caribbean is. I'd die, I swear to you, being somewhere like the La Samanna Villas on the island of St Martin. The extraordinary view of the Caribbean Sea would be the end of me! Not only is the view breathtaking, but the interiors designed by Marc Michaels are so elegantly comfortable, I can't believe it's not someone's home. I love how our favorite color is paired with oranges, reds, pinks and greens...for "a true Caribbean spirit"! If that is the spirit of the Caribbean, I'm so there!

Anoushka Harlequin Collection

Get out of town! The new Anoushka collection from Harlequin is positively straight out of my dreams!!
Its provocative patterns and powerful colour palette have been cleverly planned to work together in a glorious bohemian fusion, deliberately clashing and harmonising at the same time. The overall aura of the collection is embracing and welcoming, aimed at creating a nurturing home.
Just looking at these images is curing the dreariness of winter (ok...almost) and getting me in the mood for spring. So eye-catching and flamboyant, I love it all! Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Edit: If you're located in the US, Sea Green Designs carries the fabric! Yay!

Lonny & Eileen Kathryn Boyd

Obviously, I'm really digging the last Lonny. We first home Monday, we have now owned this house festive color and passionate interior designer Eileen Kathryn Boyd. Vacation pink lining looks so delicious with Benjamin Moore resort on the living room walls. Shelves Green (BM Rosemary Green) is a fun touch too! Eileen said she wanted to create a happy fun place for children, and I'd say she did exactly that! Definitely head on Lonny because there are many more, you do not want to miss. And head here to see more color-design, moderated by Eileen Kathryn Boyd!

Lonny & Angele Parlange

Imagine my absolute joy to see this home owner is a Manhattan writer and designer Angèle Parlange Lonny this date. It 's the pure sky, turquoise no lover! Gorgeous space is actually used to design one of the idols, Steven Gambrel. He is solely responsible for the beautiful Benjamin Moore common dolphins Cove bedroom framed a green border (Mint Julep BM) and glossy black door. I am totally impressed that an antique desk Angèle the stay was covered with pink skin. And it's the funky white coffee table to remind everyone that the Pink Ruffle Cake Martha Stewart? The Sag Harbor Express

I love it when I'm walking down the street and run into something like this. The Sag Harbor Express has an adorable building on Main Street in Sag Harbor, New York with the cutest turquoise door and shutters. But right next door is the Kramoris Gallery with the juiciest lime green door. I wonder if they planned that because my oh my it looked gooood!

Guest Blogger: Louise from Table Tonic

We recently sold the house that we had busily transformed into a home over the past six years, and this particular room has a special place in my heart, mainly because of the transformation it underwent in the weeks leading up to the sale. The room was the fourth (attic-style) bedroom upstairs, and until this point, it was somewhat bland and uninviting. As soon as we chucked this gorgeous Table Tonic Mexican Suzani (www.tabletonic.com.au) on the bed, the whole room came alive and the tone was set for a palette of cool, dreamy greens, limes and turquoise. Had we stayed a little longer, I could certainly have seen an aqua feature wall on the cards!

Hope you like it and thanks for the honour of being a H.O.T guest blogger!
