Designed by Patel Architecture Inc., Henderson Community Building is located in California, USA. The design integrates almost perfectly with the surrounding topography, to present a modern face of the center, which is also home to the Chamber of Commerce of Palm Desert. Working in harmony with nature and natural resources surrounding the site, the materials that are sustainably grown or recycled rather than new materials from renewable resources are used.
The entire building, including interior walls are built well insulated panels are covered with high strength concrete. Surfaces from floor to ceiling has been kept of their raw form, without the addition of paint or drywall to limit the use of harmful chemicals and materials needed. The materials used were a large part of recycled materials and waste are managed well and sent to recycling facilities.
