Waterleaf Interiors

Thanks to Coastal Living and Elements of Style, I was introduced to Manhattan Beach designer Jill Johnson from Waterleaf Interiors. You can some great images of her coastal home over at Coastal Living, but I thought I'd share some images from their portfolio. That first image of the breakfast area is a total dream. I want it, I need it, I have to have it! The kitchen in general...all the white, pops of color, the dark floors...love it all!

Molly Frey Design (& my bedroom!)

Feel like taking a mini-vacation to a friend's coastal home?? Just head over to the portfolio of Molly Frey Design! Need some inspiration or ideas?? She also has a really cool blog waiting for you too. You might recognize some of Molly's work...she's responsible for that "effervescent bathroom" you all loved, as well as the stunning "heavenly kitchen" I posted about back in June. I was excited to learn that Molly is from Marblehead, MA, a charming little coastal town where my cousin and his family live. I've never been, but have been dying to go there for a visit!

Lastly, you guys have to head over to the blog belonging to Emily A. Clark...all week she's been posting bedrooms that belong to some of our favorite bloggers. I'm thrilled that Emily asked me to participate! So if you want to see where I rest my head, head over here today...let me know what you think! :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Tobi Fairley

If you've seen this month's House Beautiful, you've surely drooled over this home in Fayetteville, Arkansas designed by Tobi Fairley. I must share it here for those of you yet to see it (and for my own collection, of course!) I love the glamour of it all. But the living room just takes the cake. All that blue!!!! I honestly can't pick my favorite feature...the furniture, the walls, that glorious rug... it's all incredible. I also appreciated what Tobi said..."I wanted to wrap the living room in layers of pale blue tones without a lot of contrast. If you use color devoid of contrast, it becomes almost like a neutral." Very good to know! :)

John Willey

Perusing the portfolio of designer John Willey is like taking in a breath of fresh spring air! (Spring?? Ha! Minneapolis is expecting 8-12 inches of new snow!) I've shown part of this Nantucket home that was also featured in House Beautiful before (maybe you remember the very lovely aqua and orange room here) and of course that chandy from my chandelier post, but the rest of the home is equally as crisp and refreshing! Sun and sky...that's what I'm talking about!!

Incredible Dream Home

You guys aren't going to believe this, but this home actually belongs to one of my readers! Desireé Ashworth owns and designed this breathtaking home in Provo, UT filled with blues and greens. Desireé is passionate about these colors, and says that she and her husband are also obsessed with anything French, Swedish or Belgium. She also has her own blog, Décor de Provence, where she posts beautiful images, filled with French and Gustavian decor. I just loved this post here with pictures of her home decorated for Christmas!

The talented photographer behind these images is Ashlee Raubach. The detail and light she is able to capture is incredible! I know this home is beautiful on its own, but Ashlee turned it into a work of art! Ashlee also has a blog, and waiting there are lots more (and bigger, we all love bigger!) images and information on this stunning home. So head here and here to see more!

Hope you enjoyed the photos and hearing about these talented and super-sweet ladies! Also, thanks so much for all your kind comments yesterday (I've never seen so many in my life!)...your support and enthusiasm means the world to me! Have a great weekend everyone! :)

James Salomon

I am loving the comfy, cozy and cool vibe of this home shot by photographer James Salomon. It automatically brings me to the middle of the summer (I swear I even just heard that cute screen door shut!) I think the bedroom is my favorite...the blue and green color scheme is so refreshing. LOVE that painted floor in there too! Check of more beautiful homes lucky enough to be photographed by Jamie over here!

Paul Raeside

I thought this photograph taken by Paul Raeside was just too lovely not to share. The lighting is just perfect! Love the striped fabric on the ottoman. What do you guys think about the ship?? I know I've seen them in a few other rooms...they definitely add a funky touch!

HGTV Dream Home 2010

The HGTV Dream Home 2010 really is a total dream! I LOVE the custom turquoise ceramic tile in the entry hall, with the oversized turquoise wing chairs. So cozy! Then the real stunner...the 16 feet of turquoise tile in the kitchen. All of the tile was beautifully crafted by artist Erin Adams and her husband Michael Corney, a renowned ceramic artist out of New Mexico. Head over to HGTV to see lots more photos and virtual tours, and for your chance to win the home! If I win, I'll throw a giant housewarming party and you're all invited! What fun with that be?!
